***Cash and credit card payments are accepted in person between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM Monday - Thursday***
The City of Hawthorne cannot accept payments over the phone.
You may make a secure online payment anytime by clicking the payment button below.
To open a utility account you must visit City Hall to fill out the required paperwork and pay the deposit. Residential deposits are $300.00, commercial deposits are $400.00, and commercial dumpster deposit is 2.5 times the monthly dumpster rental.

Please Note: WastePro does not provide garbage cans; customers must purchase their own can. Recycling bins are available from City Hall upon request. Recycling and garbage are collected every Friday morning. Recyclable items include paper, plastic bottles and jugs, aluminum cans, and glass bottles and jars.
