Solid Waste in the City of Hawthorne is collected by WastePro. WastePro does not provide garbage cans; customers must purchase their own can. All garbage must be in covered containers or watertight bags and may not weigh more than 60 pounds. Any garbage not in an appropriate container will not be collected. Recycling and garbage are collected every Friday morning.
