The City Commission read a Proclamation proclaiming November 2016 as National Hospice Palliative Care Month.

Mr. Wallace Russell & Mrs. Sharon Surrency. Hawthorne Area Resource Center. Food pantry started by Hawthorne Methodist Church and the Holy Communion Episcopal Church open yesterday. Asking people to help spend the world that it is now open.

Mrs. Sharon Surrency- Thank you to the City of Hawthorne for the donation to the Hawthorne Resource Center.
Mr. Leonard Jones- questioned if the City has an ordinance for codes regarding swimming pools not being fenced in. ~

4. Mayor Surrency- Received a letter from ACBOCC stating the changes we made to the Comp Plan Amendment which was suggested by ACBOCC still does not meet their approval. Will have staff follow up with the ACBOCC to remind them of their suggestions and that we did what they asked.
